The Westchester/Putnam Map Search Feature will allow you to browse homes, and zoom in on certain areas that you are interested in. You can also save any searches by using our “Search Saver” Feature.
When the map first appears, there will be approximately 8,000 or so listings in the results box. If, for some reason, at any time, a “0” appears, just refresh the page, and the results will appear.
By clicking in “Property Types” and “Property Features”, and entering a price range, the number of homes will steadily decrease. At any time, you can bring the pointer over a home icon, and a picture of the home will appear, with a brief summary. For further detail, just click on the home and the entire listing will appear.
The “Move” button, which is on the top left of the map, will allow you to move the map to an area you are interested in. The “ZOOM” feature can be used in two ways, either by clicking on the bar on the left, or using the ZOOM button on the top left.
Once you have pulled up a listing, you can bring up another smaller map that will allow you to input points of interest, such as schools or nearby commuter train stations. Once again, you can zoom in or out by using the two buttons on the top left of that map.
We hope you enjoy searching for homes using this new format.
